enCOURAGEment for Occupiers

On the ancient battlefields of northern Europe, it was necessary to be something of an athlete to wield a sword and smite an enemy. It took Courage just to take the field. Never mind the combat. The Irish have this saying, the only one that illustrates the picture accurately that I have known. Ourselves, alone. A battle consists not of 10,000 against 10,000. A battle is 1 against 1, 10,000 times.

Courage flames to Fury rather quickly.

I’ll meet you in the Hall of valor later, and we’ll count the enemies then.

You know who you are.
