Thoughts for the day by the Founder.

Dancing is surely the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression.  Nothing else can so effectively give outward form to an inner experience.  Poetry and music exist in time.  Painting and architecture are a part of space.  But only the dance lives at once in both space and time In it the creator and the thing created, the artist and the expression, are one.  Each participant is completely in the other.  There could be no better metaphor for an understanding of the… cosmos.

We begin to realize that our universe is in a sense brought into being by the participation of those involved in it.  It is a dance, for participation is its organizing principle.  This is the important new concept of quantum mechanics.  It takes the place in our understanding of the old notion of observation, of watching without getting involved.  Quantum theory says it can’t be done.  That spectators can sit in their rigid row as long as they like, but there will never be a performance unless at least one of them takes part.  And conversely, that it needs only one participant, because that one is the essence of all people and the quintessence of the cosmos.

Obama’s DEA Nominee Pledges To Ignore Administration’s Medical Marijuana Policy

  • by Paul Armentano, NORML Deputy Director

It was a little over a year ago when the United States Department of Justice announced that it would back away from pursuing cases against medical marijuana patients and providers who are acting in accordance with state and local laws.

“As a general matter, pursuit of [federal law enforcement] priorities should not focus federal resources … on individuals whose actions are in clear and unambiguous compliance with existing state laws providing for the medical use of marijuana,” The DOJ announced on October 19, 2009. “For example, prosecution of individuals with cancer or other serious illnesses who use marijuana as part of a recommended treatment regimen consistent with applicable state law, or those caregivers in clear and unambiguous compliance with existing state law who provide such individuals with marijuana, is unlikely to be an efficient use of limited federal resources.”

Apparently Michelle Leonhart, President Obama’s nominee to direct the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, didn’t get the memo.

Speaking yesterday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, on day one of her Senate confirmation process, Leonhart pledged to ignore the administration’s formal medical marijuana guidelines.

Michele Leonhart one step closer to officially heading up the DEA
via The Daily Caller

[excerpt] Acting director Michele Leonhart is that much closer to officially heading up the Drug Enforcement Agency after successfully navigating a hearing with the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday.

If confirmed to the position she’s already held for three years, Leonhart said she would expand the DEA’s anti-cartel operations in Mexico and continue to enforce federal drug laws in states where medical marijuana is legal.

… Perhaps due to the failure of Prop 19 in California (and despite the passage of medical marijuana in Arizona), Kohl, along with Democratic Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island and Al Franken of Minnesota, made no mention of medical marijuana. Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, however, made it his prime focus.

“I’m a big fan of the DEA,” said Sessions, before asking Leonhart point blank if she would fight medical marijuana legalization.

“I have seen what marijuana use has done to young people, I have seen the abuse, I have seen what it’s done to families. It’s bad,” Leonhart said. “If confirmed as administrator, we would continue to enforce the federal drug laws.”

“These legalization efforts sound good to people,” Sessions quipped. “They say, ‘We could just end the problem of drugs if we could just make it legal.’ But any country that’s tried that, Alaska and other places have tried it, have failed. It does not work,” Sessions said.

“We need people who are willing to say that. Are you willing to say that?” Sessions asked Leonhart.

“Yes, I’ve said that, senator. You’re absolutely correct [about] the social costs from drug abuse, especially from marijuana,” Leonhart said. “Legalizers say it will help the Mexican cartel situation; it won’t. It will allow states to balance budgets; it won’t. No one is looking [at] the social costs of legalizing drugs.”

It is shocking to learn that not a single Senator who attended the hearing, in particular Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse from Rhode Island, had the courage to demand that Ms. Leonhart respect the laws of the 15 states that have legalized the use of marijuana as a medicine. In the case of Sen. Whitehouse, his own state is now in the process of licensing state-certified marijuana providers and distributors; yet he appears to have no problem with the idea of appointing a federal official who declares her intention to put his own constituents in federal prison.

It gets even more disturbing. In the days leading up to Wednesday’s initial confirmation hearing, acoalition of advocacy groups — including NORMLAmericans for Safe Access, and others called on members of the Senate Judiciary to ask Ms. Leonhart tough questions regarding her public record, one that is incompatible with state laws, public opinion, and with the policies of this administration. Yet not a single Senator did so.

There is a growing divide between state and federal law concerning the use of marijuana for medical purposes, and it would only take members of the Senate — or Ms. Leonhart for that matter — a cursory scan of today’s google headlines to see it:

New Mexico approves six new medical marijuana producers

As we’ve written before, as Interim DEA director, Ms. Leonhart has overseen dozens of federal raids on medical marijuana providers, producers, and laboratory facilities that engage in the testing of cannabis potency and quality. Yesterday Ms. Leonhart pledged to continue these actions — actions that violate this administration’s own written policies, and more importantly, actions that target the civilians of fifteen states and the District of ColumbiaThese people are the constituents of 30 percent of the U.S. Senate; yet not even one of these elected officials appears willing to speak up for them. That is disgraceful.

Want to write or call your Senator about Ms. Leonhart’s nomination process? You can still do so here and here.

A huge victory against Keystone XL… and the fight continues.

Dear Reader,

This is why activism matters.

Six months ago, the Obama Administration was set to approve one of the single most environmentally disastrous fossil fuel projects imaginable.

Today, it’s dead.

The Keystone XL pipeline — designed to bring filthy tar sands oil from Canada to refineries on the Gulf Coast of Texas so that oil companies can profit by selling the oil overseas — was dealt a severe setback yesterday when President Obama said no to an election year blackmail threat by the American Petroleum Institute and its lackeys in Congress.

But President Obama didn’t reject Keystone XL because he wanted to. Or because he thought it was the right thing to do. Or because he thought it would help his reelection campaign. He rejected it because you made him do it.

It’s a victory for activists. But because the President rejected the pipeline on a narrow technicality,1 in no way has he set down a clear marker against the pipeline or the carbon bomb that burning Canadian tar sands oil in China represents.

We want to thank the many groups and thousands of activists, who, following the inspiring call of Bill McKibben (Seems JIM is the man pulling this string?), joined us in putting massive public pressure on the President. In fact, CREDO waged the single largest activism campaign in our history.2

It was this pressure that forced President Obama to initially delay the decision in November. And it was this pressure, combined with the Republicans’ overzealous and irresponsible demand of a 60-day deadline that forced him yesterday to reject the pipeline permit.

Our pressure overcame the lies and propaganda of Republicans and oil giants, and their threats of “huge political consequences” if he didn’t approve it.

Rejecting this pipeline was the right thing to do. But by rejecting it purely on a technicality, there are many things President Obama did not do:

  • He did not close the door to this pipeline once and for all. In fact, he specifically opened the door to the southern portion of Keystone XL, which would allow this oil to be exported overseas — the real reason TransCanada wanted Keystone XL in the first place.
  • He did not explain the imperative of stopping not just this project, but others that will expedite disastrous warming. Just the opposite — he touted the need to expand oil and gas drilling and made no mention of clean energy.
  • He did not refute the lies of Republicans and polluters, whose biggest “jobs plan” is a foreign oil pipeline whose chief purpose is to export oil overseas.

The time to lead us away from dirty fuels and prevent escalating global catastrophes from climate change is here. And President Obama still can.

Tell President Obama: It’s time to lead on climate. Make the case in your State of the Union Address. Click here to automatically sign the petition.

Until President Obama makes a clear and compelling case to the American people for sweeping action to reduce our dependence on any and all fossil fuels, the pace of our transition will remain slower than what is required to stem the onrushing danger of climate pollution.

Until he refutes the false choice presented by Big Oil and Republicans — that we must choose between a clean energy future and a stable economy — he empowers and remains vulnerable to their attacks.

Until he shows his commitment to clean energy over dirty fossil fuels, the energy of progressive activists will be spent fighting individual bad decisions, instead of pushing to support needed progressive policies.

And ultimately, until President Obama takes the opportunity for a true moment of leadership that publicly raises the stakes on the fight to stabilize our climate, the State of our Union will remain deeply clouded.

Tell President Obama: It’s time to lead on climate. Make the case in your State of the Union Address.

For now, it is clear that we must fight for every victory. It’s also clearer than ever that when we fight, we can win.

Let’s use this momentum to push for even broader victories to bring about the type of future that you and I know is still possible.

Thank you for being part of this historic victory.

Rep. Lamar Smith, Republicans, Conservatives and Other Communists: Please STOP the FAILED, Nation-Destabilizing, IMMORAL War on Drugs!

Rep. Lamar Smith, Republicans, Conservatives and Other Communists: Please STOP the FAILED, Nation-Destabilizing, IMMORAL War on Drugs!

The vast pools of blood spilled every day BECAUSE of the FAILED War on Drugs— which began only 40 years ago by corrupt politician Republican Richard Nixon – now rests with the Obama Administration and Congress, and particularly a man named Lamar Smith, Representative of Texas and head of the Judiciary Committee in the House of Representatives. These are the men and women with the blood of scores of innocent people on their hands, since unrighteous laws can be changed, and these Communists refuse to stop the immoral War on Drugs, and so the suffering of the innocent will be upon their heads now.

The U.S. Congress created the Cannabis Prohibition law in 1937 and later the Controlled Substances Act of 1970. These two immoral laws combined together created million of outlaws out of otherwise law-abiding citizens pursuing their constitutional right of freedom of expression and freedom of religious expression. Smith has said that his committee will not even consider the Barney Frank/Ron Paul marijuana legalization bill. Here is his nonsensical and communist answer as to why he won’t give states the right to decide whether to legalize cannabis or not:

“Marijuana use and distribution is prohibited under federal law because it has a high potential for abuse and does not have an accepted medical use in the U.S. The Food and Drug Administration has not approved smoked marijuana for any condition or disease.

Decriminalizing marijuana will only lead to millions more Americans becoming addicted to drugs and greater profits for drug cartels who fund violence along the U.S.-Mexico border. Allowing states to determine their own marijuana policy flies in the face of Supreme Court precedent.”

His first two points are moot, since alcohol is highly addictive and massively abused, and alcohol has not (as far as I know) been determined to help any “condition or disease.” If millions more Americans CHOOSE to smoke cannabis rather than drink alcohol, wouldn’t that lessen alcohol abuse, which is MUCH more ruinous to the individual than cannabis? And how is legalizing cannabis going to make the Mexican Drug Cartels richer? As far as the Supreme Court is concerned, they have been wrong about Black Americans being 100% human, along with other decisions, and they are WRONG about Congress being able tooutlaw drug consumption.

Does the Congressman admit that there are many legal drugs that are abused, and children are now sniffing household items to get high, with deadly results? Does Mr. Smith think he can trump his Creator and call Him a liar? This is what Elohim has said to the whole world:

And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

29And Elohim said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which isupon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31And Elohim saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

I used to be a big defender of the War on Drugs, not knowing what Law and Government is supposed to stand for and what they are to protect. People do not get together to form Government and to make Law to keep people safe from themselves, but rather for people to be FREE TO CHOOSE to harm themselves if they so choose (unless it is a dictatorship), unrestrained by government decree unless it is a nuisance to OTHERS. This is why one cannot bring oneself to Court, since one cannot get compensation from oneself, and Courts are made to secure Justice for the Rights of Citizens.

Our Constitution prohibits our Federal Government from inhibiting the pursuits of its citizens — no matter how destructive to the person pursuing his happiness through any given activity it may be — to do things that are repugnant or politically opposing to others in our Republic, UNLESS it infringes on other enumerated rights found in the Constitution. This is not communism, but rather freedom of Religion. The Communists (Dictatorships, Religious Regimes) have always sought to control the population of a nation through Drug Prohibition, from the Islamists centuries ago to the Catholic Church throughout the centuries, to dictatorships and Communist countries of the world today. This is also whydictator-in-the-making Comrade Obama doesn’t want to bring MILLIONS of jobs to America and slow the growth of the increase in innocent blood being shed in the world through AMERICA’S immoral War on Drugs.

These Communists will invoke children and effects on society and on the individual users, but they cannot cite their evil Communist laws in the Constitution, which forbids such things UNLESS it is done by Constitutional Amendment, like the dozens of others Amendments that have passed, including the infamous FAILED Prohibition on Alcohol Amendment that made millions of otherwise law-abiding citizens pursuing happiness become criminals, ushering in criminal gang violence and ever-increasing innocent bloodshed.

The very same thing has happened again, but this time it went world-wide, corrupting governments and destabilizing not just nations, but whole regions of the globe. Mexican Drug Gangs are destabilizing Mexico, with other parts of the world suffering terrible drug gang violence, while virtuously every big and medium-sized city (and even many small cities) in America has a dangerous and destabilizing gang problems, while assassinations continue around the world because of the War on Drugs and the violence associated with letting criminals handle these outlawed substances.

The very same Republicans, Conservatives and other defenders of Drug Prohibition will not want to go back to Alcohol Prohibition, citing the FACT that it failed, even though the evidence PROVES alcohol abuse is a plague of problems that touches virtuously EVERY home in America EVERY year. They don’t want to outlaw cigarettes, since Communists do such things, but cigarettes cause much more damage in terms of death and fire than even alcohol. And they don’t want to regulate how much food an obese person can eat, since they do want to be known as Communists, even though obesity causes many more deaths than even cigarettes do.

So we are left with these Communists and THEIR moral feelings trumping our Constitution and common sense, while they oppose other communistic remedies to other problems in the country. This is hypocrisy and self-righteousness combined with pride to form Communist principles of punishing those of opposing viewpoints and making them into outlaws of the state. Meanwhile, they say, “pass the beer or cigarette or caffeine – which kills over 1,000 in the U.S. every year.

urge all to contact (D.C. 202-225-4236) Mr. Lamar Smith and Mr. Obama (202-456-1111) and your Representative and two Senators and tell them to STOP the immoral and failed War on Drugs, letting them know that innocent blood is being spilled and many lives ruined around the globe because of America’s pushing and bullying of other nations to go along with this Communist scheme.

The Truth Behind War.

In the case of every war that we have ever fought, as a human family, both teams have been played by US — but only one side has truthfully been played by us.

Now this is how typically, they work.

Each side sends the flower of its youth off, to tunes of glory, to blow the legs and heads of the flower of our youth of the other side, each team playing the role of the deity to the role of the other’s devil, in a curious inverted magnetic field conformation, more about which later on.

Take for example “OUR eternal” Jihad vs. Crusade situation, according to which the kids of both sides,

all members of one human family,

our own, Continue reading

Dear visitors…

Friends,

I get a lot of emails as to why I do not bring up notions such as the “New World Order”, “Illuminati”, “Zionism”, “Secret Societies” and other popular occult/conspiracy concepts which are very topical in this day and age. While I, of course, acknowledge the “men behind the curtain” and the various levels of manipulation and corruption of the ruling class, it must be understood that I do not differentiate between the high level, elitist criminal- and the commonplace, petty criminal.

They are both different extremes of the same sickness. On one side of the spectrum, you have the wealthy elite who maintain a compulsive addiction to power, control and material wealth. This is due to a constant, endless need for more and more self-preservation, which is derived from the psychological impressions of “Scarcity”.
On the other side you have poor people, living clearly within scarcity, who are without options for survival, and are forced into corrupt behavior in order to stay alive.

Sadly, the idea of “corruption” has become highly stylized today, and Hollywood and Tv constantly reinforce the excitement of this so called ‘criminal’ behavior and this perpetuates the sickness to new levels.

Now, for many, the above distinctions are likely too general.  Some would say things like “what about the columbine massacre… they were middle class kids from decent families”

Aberrant, seemingly irrational, violent behavior comes from a low self-sufficiency. This is the result of an up bringing which does not intelligently cater to the needs of a growing mind, nor giving him or her the tools to understand the world around them. Mental Distortion comes from Social Distortion and if we ever want to see a world without the constant manipulative, violent abuses, we have to do what has never been done in any real way:

Examine the social system and the bio-social pressures it perpetuates inherently.

Now, I’m not going to go into all of the elements required to fully explain how sick our society is and how the religious systems and profit systems have twisted the general human mind into a perverse, selfish, divisive mentality.

However, what I will say is that to be “Normal” in our world, actually means “Screwed up” to many.  Try to not be one of those, for you will find people like me “crazy”, per say.

Now, coming back to my original point- I want everyone to understand that putting the blame on the “globalists” or the “new world order” crowd is a cop-out. These people are manifestations of the system and even if you imprisoned all the elite at the top, a new set of corrupt people would take their place overnight. This means that it isn’t “groups” we should be concerned with… it is the environment.

There is No “They”

It’s time we grow out of the “us against them” mentality. This isn’t to say we shouldn’t be activists against the constant social corruption. We have to do that.  But, we must stop this nonsense that we are “at war” with something. This is an illusion. Martin Luther King Jr. had it right. The most powerful weapon you can have is unconditional love.

Now, we must think about what is truly important for Change. Is researching and understanding the nuances of the Bavarian Illuminati and all its symbols going to help bring change to the world?

No, it isn’t.

While social history might be important to understand, we must get our priorities straight. The fact is, “exposing the criminal elite” along with things like 9/11 is only half the game. True change will come not from an angry group of abused people. It will come from a positive awareness of what humanity ‘could be’, if we all wake up and realize our possibilities. Once the species understands that there IS enough to go around, that we are One, and that our integrity is only as good as the integrity of the rest of the planet…then a new focus will emerge, and all the “secret societies” and the like will lose all power. All the “New World Order” is.. is a hard up group of damaged human beings who think world domination is a rewarding goal. They are no different that the ignorant frat-boys of Skull and Bones and any other childish group elitism. They are just sad, and it’s time we stop all the pontification about their infamous “power”.

The power elite are only as powerful as we allow them to be.

Namaste,

Arnold

ps: I have also been getting emails asking why I do not respond to Alex Jones’s attacks.

Very simply, Alex isn’t worth the time. He is just another victim of culture… a damaged mentality who thinks we are at “war” with something. Sadly, he is very dogmatic in his beliefs, and while I think Alex is a decent person overall, his “us and them” worldview is more dangerous than helpful. I feel he perpetuates the same mentality of the people he claims to fight.  Perhaps even a well paid decoy to further distract the population.
