Anonymous Hacking Spree Day is today? Oh my! Click 4Juicy Details!

This one is on fire. I’m updating it as more sites are hacked – and also now that PayPal’s head of PR is skirmishing with me on Twitter. I also got the Anonymous press release about the V For Vendetta reenactment they’re planning today in London. It’s all here:

PayPal, Symantec hacked as Anonymous begins November 5 hacking spree | ZDNet »

As it becomes the 5th of November around the world, Anonymous announced a hacking spree that has claimed many websites and a few databases – plus a planned V For Vendetta reenactment at the Houses of …  Don’t forget that PayPal = Amazon & Bank of America.  And it’s an ebay thing now partnered with discover card.   Adding Symantec to the list just rounds out the Umbrella Corp properties nicely.
“Protesters in Canada will get a rude surprise if they don Guy Fawkes masks – because last week Canada’s House of Commons approved a bill that bans people from hiding their faces during riots btw.”
Thank you all for visiting, don’r forget to leave comments. And don’t forget to H.A.N.D.!

Anonymous hacking spree hits PayPal, Symantec

The hacks are apparently just the beginning of document dumps and defacements for its day of protest, the 5th of November, aka Guy Fawkes Day.

The press arm for Anonymous has announced that it has begun its hacking spree for the 5th of November — Guy Fawkes Day — and claims to have dumped user and employee account information on accounts from PayPal, Symantec, Australian government Web sites and much more.

Monday’s main focus seems to be an anti-surveillance protest — as with the recentAnonymous October 20 protest — with November 5th intent aimed at surveillance systems such as TrapWire and INDECT.

Trapwire and INDECT’s opponents believe that the surveillance systems to be direct threats to privacy and certain civil freedoms and that their implementation could constitute human rights violations.

According to the various Anonymous Twitter accounts announcing the hacks and linking to document dumps, this is just the beginning of doc dumps and defacements for its day of protest. News of the protest is being shared on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Pastebin.

Australian Government qla.org.au Hacked by Anonymous for Nov 5th

The hacktivists have also included in its Nov. 5th announcements tonight the hacking and defacement of Australian government sites, ImageShack and PayPal (claiming a zero day exploit), Ascension Australia,  NBC.com and Lady Gaga‘s fan site (claimed for the spree by “Pyknic”), Saturday Night Live’s Web site, Australian steel and mining company Arcelor Mittal, homewares website GiftNow, the Greek City website, the Ghana Consulate Web site, and claim to have leaked VMware ESX Server Kernel source code via twitter today.

Anonymous Australia seems to be the most active at this time.

At the same time, the press arm for Anonymous has announced — via a press release on Pastebin — that it is rallying the public for an in-person V For Vendetta protest at The Houses of Parliament, at 8 p.m. in London.

Protesters in Canada will get a rude surprise if they don Guy Fawkes masks — because last week Canada’s House of Commons approved a bill that bans people from hiding their faces during riots.

We’re watching and following the developments as they happen.

And right now they’re happening fast — and furiously.

The Top Five Special Interest Groups Lobbying To Keep Marijuana Illegal

Google ChromeScreenSnapz018
POSTED BY

Last year, over 850,000 people in America were arrested for marijuana-related crimes. Despite public opinion, the medical community, and human rights experts all moving in favor of relaxing marijuana prohibition laws, little has changed in terms of policy.

There have been many great books and articles detailing the history of the drug war. Part of America’s fixation with keeping the leafy green plant illegal is rooted in cultural and political clashes from the past.

However, we at Republic Report think it’s worth showing that there are entrenched interest groups that are spending large sums of money to keep our broken drug laws on the books:

1.) Police Unions: Police departments across the country have become dependent on federal drug war grants to finance their budget. In March, we published a story revealing that a police union lobbyist in California coordinated the effort to defeat Prop 19, a ballot measure in 2010 to legalize marijuana, while helping his police department clients collect tens of millions in federal marijuana-eradication grants. And it’s not just in California. Federal lobbying disclosures show that other police union lobbyists have pushed for stiffer penalties for marijuana-related crimes nationwide.

2.) Private Prisons Corporations: Private prison corporations make millions by incarcerating people who have been imprisoned for drug crimes, including marijuana. As Republic Report’s Matt Stoller noted last year, Corrections Corporation of America, one of the largest for-profit prison companies, revealed in a regulatory filing that continuing the drug war is part in parcel to their business strategy. Prison companies have spent millions bankrolling pro-drug war politicians and have used secretive front groups, like the American Legislative Exchange Council, to pass harsh sentencing requirements for drug crimes.

3.) Alcohol and Beer Companies: Fearing competition for the dollars Americans spend on leisure, alcohol and tobacco interests have lobbied to keep marijuana out of reach. For instance, the California Beer & Beverage Distributors contributed campaign contributions to a committee set up to prevent marijuana from being legalized and taxed.

4.) Pharmaceutical Corporations: Like the sin industries listed above, pharmaceutical interests would like to keep marijuana illegal so American don’t have the option of cheap medical alternatives to their products. Howard Wooldridge, a retired police officer who now lobbies the government to relax marijuana prohibition laws, told Republic Report that next to police unions, the “second biggest opponent on Capitol Hill is big PhRMA” because marijuana can replace “everything from Advil to Vicodin and other expensive pills.”

5.) Prison Guard Unions: Prison guard unions have a vested interest in keeping people behind bars just like for-profit prison companies. In 2008, the California Correctional Peace Officers Association spent a whopping $1 million to defeat a measure that would have “reduced sentences and parole times for nonviolent drug offenders while emphasizing drug treatment over prison.” Continue reading

Thoughts for the night/day/week/month.

September is one heck of a month for me.     Many birthdays including my own.   Many wonderful moments, and even some very sad.   Emotions running high can make your mind create rivers of thoughts.  These rivers can be navigated in a fine manner however, like any water charted down and then rehearsed, over and over.  With that said this little project of mine seems to be opening paradoxes globally.  Hopefully one day many will feel it.

Watching #Mermaids at home with the family on Discovery channel.  Amazing how history shows only what we think we know, or what we actually happen to know.  We however are never in tune, as we are each different in many ways.  The fact that this evidence is now being broadcasted, and the research advanced to the point where they concluded they can broadcast this publicly makes me feel humbled.  Humbled to know that God is big and gives faith only to those that deserve it.

Furthermore, I believe each and every network on earth needs new authority and we can help mold this “enforcing power”.  I have in mind something that is unprecedented, this is not a normal advocate of advice but a prophetic theoretical enforcer of national importance behind the scenes working with humble spiritual power to enhance humanity to its fullest potential.  Every network using protocols of communications regarding TERMS or TOS or Agreements deserves a righteous virtuous enhancement which I believe can help every human update their own processing abilities in order to properly synchronize with the world we live in.  Only through liberty and justice for all.  I believe every update to such said terms to any and all groups/networks should be not just mentioned/emailed or brought up to people/members etc.  But I have a vision that when an update for any of these communication networks/organizations/groups/websites/companies happens, members should receive a very clear delivery of such updates, perhaps even with a questionnaire to prove as evidence that said members agree to the new updates.   We live in an age/era where ignorance is just no longer bliss.  We are too wise to ignore blatant mistakes.

Namaste

New Big Brother Cyber Weapon Can Turn on Your Computer’s Microphone, Take Screen Shots, Copy Data, Record Communications

Mac Slavo
SHTFplan

To the disbelief of many of our readers, in a 2011 report titled Everything You Do Is Monitored, we noted that microphones and cameras on cell phones and computers allow interested parties (translated to mean your respective government) to hear and see everything going on in the direct vicinity of the device without the knowledge of its owner.

That these monitoring features are available on cell phones was a known fact, as FBI surveillance networks already have the ability to turn on any cell phone microphone or camera remotely without tipping off the user. It’s believed that thissurveillance technique can work even when the cell phone user has shut down their phone, with the only surefire way to prevent such surveillance being removal of the unit’s battery.

Anonymous Announces OpCannabis, Phase 1

logo.jpeg
OpCannabis
The online activist organization Anonymous has begun Phase 1 of OpCannabis, its effort to educate the public and work on behalf of cannabis legalization worldwide.
In announcing OpCannabis, which officially launches on April 20, Anonymous released the following statement:
Dear Citizens of the World
For far too long cannabis has been oppressed by big corporations, big pharma and governments when it could be benefiting all of mankind on many different levels. We have heard and we have watched your government lie and deceive you on all the dangers of cannabis. Show support by making your profile pictures green this April 20th on your social network profiles.
OpCannabis phase 1, initiated. We are Anonymous…..Expect us.

Attention individual people, governments, companies and fellow Anons!

Operation Leakspin (French for France, Canada, Haiti etc…)
We are Anonymous and we have an important message for you:
Plato said that it was ok to tell a lie ONLY if it truly benefits all of mankind. Plato called this lie the “noble lie.” For far too long there has been a lie that has been perpetrated but it is neither noble nor does it benefit all of mankind, actually quite the opposite… the cannabis plant is one of the world’s oldest and best medicines that has been known as beneficial for thousands of years!
It can replace many medicines and can be made into many different things such as plastics and fuels and paints etc. The bounds of this plant are limitless, we ALL are effected by illness such as cancer, diabetes, Crohn’s disease, chronic pain, mental illness, MS, ADD, ADHD, bipolar disorders, emotional disorders, alcohol or prescription FDA approved drug abuse and a myriad of other physical and mental disorders. Cannabis had been proven over and over to help or even cure and reverse the effects of these diseases that will affect us all at some point in our life!
Yet it is kept from the people who need its curing powers by governments, big corporations, by big pharmaceutical companies because it is a threat to the money they make! They make more money off you being sick so they do not want you to have a cure, these people do not truly care about your wellbeing only the money they will make from your illness!
Since it is an easily grown plant that can be grown freely by anyone they have made it an illegal Schedule I drug. Cannabis has been oppressed by the powers that be that are afraid of its true benefits, and these benefits do help all of mankind!
So cannabis fits the criteria for Anonymous’ support. We ask that all Anons and individuals please support the legalization efforts in any way possible! Even simply signing a petition or sharing info or even just having an open mind about the subject will help!
We ask you to please educate yourself on its many benefits and share these benefits with your sick or injured friends. We all know somebody that has cancer or diabetes and cannabis has helped or cured both and many other disorders!
Anonymous will begin its support for the legalization of marijuana on 4/20/12. So please show your support by educating yourselves and making your profile pic or timeline banner on your social services accts green or 420 friendly.
We have all seen the power of the SOPA blackout so Anonymous feels that we can help cure the world simply by everyone showing their support for this most beneficial plant! We must end the prohibition of cannabis!! Irony behind SOPA research, (or look up, google or what have you) ‘Lamar Smith’ CEO of the House Rep board and author of SOPA, very anti-cannabis, pro-prohibition due to being one of the heavy insider trading and investing heavy into the private prison industry and other industries that thrive on the prohibition of cannabis.
These oppressors make trillions of dollars off of the war on drugs by keeping their privately owned jails overcrowded with nonviolent drug offenders! We are approaching the 11 billion dollar mark that the government has spent on the drug war this year alone and have put millions of nonviolent offenders behind bars. This is a true crime against humanity and needs to end!
Saying cannabis is a dangerous drug and is not a medicine is NOT a noble lie… it is simply a lie!
WE ARE ANONYMOUS.
WE ARE LEGION for legalization!
WE DO NOT FORGIVE the crimes of the War on Drugs.
WE DO NOT FORGET our brothers + sisters locked up because of it.
EXPECT US. (And the spiritual energy of all those dead, that suffered, along with the energy of their loved ones and families that helped fund your fake treatments that fattened your pockets while improper faith was put on your tricks you tricksters!)
